Microsoft Office now available through Cloud computing.

Few months ago, Microsoft has introduced its Office package in Cloud computing space in the Internet viz., ’Office Web Apps’. We pretty well know that ‘Google’ and ‘Zoho’ are making strides when it comes to presenting utilities in Cloud computing. The fear of being left behind has forced Microsoft to come out with its Office package in Cloud computing. This Office package includes MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point and MS One note. Those who have Windows Live account can use this package. Though, this Cloud computing Office package said to be available only in countries like U.K., U.S.A., Ireland and Canada, it is widely available in other countries too.

Along with usage of this Office package in Cloud computing, the user also gets free 25 G.B. of Online space through Windows Live account. This facility is considered equivalent to Office 2010 and it can also be used through your P.C., Phone and Web browser, Microsoft has observed.

Any file created through the MS Office, can also be edited / saved through this Cloud computing facility, besides saving the same in our computer. If your file has been created using earlier versions of MS Office, then also this Online MS Office in Cloud computing provides you with all editing facilities. Since, this MS Office package is available in Online through Cloud computing, more than a person can use or edit the document or file.

The user interface of this MS Office Online package through Cloud computing is very simple to use and it gives an experience of using MS Office in our own P.C. This Online MS Office package functions in all Web browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox etc. But there is a restriction in this package viz., the ‘Edit’ button in this MS Office Online will function only in Microsoft Internet Explorer and not in any other Web browsers.

This Online MS Office is compatible with the latest release from Microsoft viz., the Office 2010 package. Therefore, those who don’t have any MS Office package in their P.C., need not worry. Instead through Internet they can use MS Office, create files, edit files with others.

This package is called Office Web Apps and to avail this, please visit: http://office.live.com/ . Before that please ensure you have Windows Live account for you. If you don’t, first create an account in Windows Live and then visit this link.
